Open Theatre Project is proud to be producing the JP TheatrePorch for the 2nd year in a row at St. John’s Church on July 9th in conjunction with JP Porchfest and we need theatre groups and ensembles from JP and Boston!

About JP Porchfest
On JULY 9th from 12-6PM, Jamaica Plain celebrates JP Porchfest, where hundreds of musicians take to their front porches to perform all over town.
Each year, there are dedicated ‘artistic porches’ that focus on specific types of art aside from music (dance, spoken word, theatre) and Open Theatre Project is proud to be producing the TheatrePorch for the 2nd year in a row OUTSIDE of St. John’s Episcopal Church. (1 roanoke ave. JP) Performances will be held in 20, 30 or 60 min slots throughout the day and each group has complete creative control and will produce / rehearse their performance independently.
The application process is about getting to know you, your performance and what kind of team you have behind it. We look forward to reading through them in the coming weeks!
